Terms of Use

1. The service

Spotpris shows day-ahead spot electricity prices for the supported price areas (Sweden SE1–SE4, Denmark DK1–DK2, Germany DE-LU, Austria AT) and can send push notifications when the price crosses the limits you set. The service is run by an individual based in Sweden.

2. Free and paid

Viewing prices — on this website and in the app — is free. Push alerts require a subscription.

3. Subscription

• The subscription price is shown in the App Store for your country or region before you subscribe. The first month is free for new subscribers.
• The subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
• Purchase and renewal are handled by Apple through your App Store account. Cancel under Subscriptions in your device settings, at least 24 hours before the next period.
• Family Sharing is not enabled for this subscription.

4. Price data

Prices are fetched from public sources for each country: elprisetjustnu.se (Nord Pool data) for Sweden, Energi Data Service (Energinet) for Denmark, and SMARD.de (Bundesnetzagentur) for Germany and Austria. They exclude VAT (unless you turn on “Show prices incl. VAT” in the app), grid fees, energy tax and your supplier's markup — your actual price will therefore be higher. Tomorrow's prices are usually published after 13:00 CET/CEST.

5. No warranties

Spotpris is an aid, not a guaranteed source of truth. Prices may be delayed, wrong or missing if the source is down, and alerts may be delayed or fail for reasons outside our control. The service is provided as is, and we accept no liability for decisions you make based on it.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated. Material changes affecting an ongoing subscription will be announced in the app before they take effect.
